Dr Rod McConnell
MBBS, FRACGP, DRANZCOG, Dip. Derm
Dr Rod McConnell is the principal doctor at the Goulburn Medical Clinic, and has been working here since 1993. Prior to that, he had worked at Batemans Bay and several other hospitals including Concord, Westmead and Orange Base Hospitals. In his spare time, Dr McConnell can be found participating in gym classes and performing with the Rocky Hill Musical Theatre Company and the St Saviour's Choir.
Dr Isabella Hawke
B.Med, Hon FRACGP
Dr Hawke has practiced at the Goulburn Medical Clinic since 2001. She runs a women's health clinic on Tuesdays, and remains one of the most popular female GPs in Goulburn. As a senior lecturer at the ANU Rural Clinical School, Dr Hawke often has medical students sit in during her consultations, giving invaluable experience to our future GPs. "The aim of rural exposure is to encourage students to consider rural medical practice after graduation. These measures are designed to alleviate the rural doctor shortage and increase the numbers of general practitioners and specialists who choose to work in Goulburn."
Dr Farooq Mohamed
MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Farooq Mohamed has worked at the clinic since 2013. Dr Farooq is experienced in all aspects of General Practice, especially in chronic disease management, and children's health, holding a Diploma in Children's Health. With past experience in emergency medicine, he strives to work with patients for the betterment of their health and believes that "The good GP never stops learning" Dr Mohamed speaks English, Hindi and Urdu.
Dr Wasan Matti
MBBS
Dr Matti has previously worked at the John Hunter Hospital and prior to that in Iraq. She has gained valuable experience across the spectrum of medical disiplines, which has prepared her for a career in general practice. Her husband Dr Ehssan Kdady is also a GP at the Goulburn Medical Clinic. They live in Goulburn with their two young children.
Dr Ehssan Kdady

After gaining comprehensive experience across the full range of medical disiplines in Iraq, Dr Kdady trained at the John Hunter Hospital before coming to Goulburn to live with his wife Dr Matti and their two children.
Dr Katherine Scott
MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Katherine Scott is a fellow of the RACGP, and has worked in Goulburn since 2009. Prior to moving to Goulburn, Dr Scott worked in General Practice in Sydney, Busselton WA; Katherine NT and Rochester, Victoria. She enjoys the challenging variety of general practice and particularly the fulfilment of providing continuing care to her long term patients.
Dr Atul Jawale
MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Atul Jawale is a General Practitioner with a special interest in skin cancers. He performs thorough skin checks using advanced skin imaging and is skilled at removing skin cancers. Dr Jawale completed his medical training in India. He migrated to Australia in 2011 and has worked at various hospitals across Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Jawale most recently worked in Wagga Wagga before permanently moving to Goulburn to live with his wife. Many patients know her as our beloved obstetrician and gynaecologist Dr Swati Mahajan.
Dr Pallav Sirohi
MBBS
Dr Pallav Sirohi joins our team as a GP Registrar. He is currently working at the Goulburn Base Hospital in the Anaesthetic department as a GP anaesthetist. Dr Sirohi's specialty is fitness for anaesthetics.
Dr Lisa Belgrove

Dr. Lisa has always aspired to become a rural GP ever since she embarked on her medical career. Having been raised in Goulburn, she is enthusiastic about providing high quality medical care to her community.
