Dr Farrar completed her medical degree at the university of Notre Dame and attained accreditation in Neurology from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians training at St Vincent’s Hospital, royal Price Alfred Hospital, Orange Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital. Dr Farrar undertook an Epilepsy Fellowship at Westmead Hospital and was trained in complex epilepsy assessment and management, surgical epilepsy evaluation as well as cranial and intracranial EEG monitoring. Dr Farrar has presented research in Australia as well as overseas and has been 1st Author on publications including article on the assessment of patients with seizures. Dr Farrar is undertaking further study and research on the role of ketogenic diet therapy in refractory epilepsy and hopes to establish an adult ketogenic diet therapy clinic in NSW. Dr James Thomas

Dr James Thomas completed his medical degree at the University of Newcastle and attained accreditation in Neurology from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Australian New Zealand Association of Neurologists with training at John Hunter Hospital and Liverpool Hospital. He has a staff specialist appointment at Liverpool Hospital as well as a visiting medical officer in John Hunter Hospital. Dr Thomas undertook specialist training in stroke management at Liverpool Hospital where he has ongoing involvement in hyperacute stroke treatments and clinical trials. He is undertaking a PhD through the University of New South Wales investigating cutting edge methods for stroke diagnosis. Dr Thomas has a wide range of experience in general neurology with particular interest in stroke, headache and autoimmune disorders of the central nervous system. He has published research in internationally recognised medical journals in the areas of stroke and vestibular disorders and has presented this research nationally and internationally.
